This Privacy Notice (“Notice”) describes the processing of Personal Information (defined below) that is provided, collected, or disclosed while providing our products or services to you (“Services”) and on the websites, applications, and online platforms that link to this Notice (collectively, “Site”), including when you apply for a job with us. It also describes rights you may have under applicable laws. Please read this Notice carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your Personal Information and how we will treat it.
Geographic Scope (United States and Canada). This Notice applies to our processing of Personal Information in connection with our Site and Services for individuals located in the United States and Canada. If you are located in Canada, please also review the “Individuals in Canada” section below, which provides additional disclosures and rights that may apply to you under Canadian privacy laws.
Notice at Collection of Personal Information (California & Other U.S. State Laws)
This Notice at Collection summarizes the categories of Personal Information we collect, the purposes for which we use it, whether we “sell” or “share” Personal Information as defined under applicable U.S. state privacy laws, and how long we retain each category of Personal Information. Additional detail is provided throughout this Privacy Notice.
Categories of Personal Information Collected:
We collect the categories of Personal Information described in the “Personal Information We Collect” section below.
Purposes for Collection and Use:
We use Personal Information for the business and commercial purposes described in the “How We Use Personal Information” section below.
Selling or Sharing:
We do not sell Personal Information for monetary consideration. However, we do “share” Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising and may be deemed to engage in a “sale” under the CCPA and similar state laws when third parties collect identifiers, device information, or internet activity data through cookies and other tracking technologies on our Site. You may opt out at any time via the “Your Privacy Choices” link in our Site footer or by using an Opt-Out Preference Signal, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC).
Retention:
We retain each category of Personal Information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Notice, comply with legal obligations, and pursue legitimate business interests. More information is available in the “How Long We Keep Your Personal Information” section.
We collect several categories of Personal Information from and about users of our Site and Services. “Personal Information” means information that uniquely identifies, relates to, describes, or is reasonably capable of being associated with or linked to you. The categories of Personal Information we collect may include:
To the extent we collect Personal Information that may be considered Sensitive Personal Information under applicable laws—such as account access credentials, demographic information provided by job applicants, or other limited information—we use and disclose such information solely for purposes permitted under §7027(m) of the California Consumer Privacy Act Regulations, or as otherwise permitted by applicable law. Because we do not use Sensitive Personal Information for inferring characteristics or for any purpose requiring a right to limit under the CCPA, we do not offer a right to limit the use or disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information.
No Use of Personal Information for Additional Purposes Without Notice
We do not process Personal Information for purposes that are materially different from, unrelated to, or incompatible with the purposes described in this Notice without first providing you with notice and, where required by law, obtaining your consent.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we use Personal Information:
If you are applying for employment with us, we also use Personal Information to process your job application, to verify the information you have provided in your application, conduct interviews, perform background and reference checks, to communicate with you and answer your questions, to confirm your eligibility for employment, and improve our recruiting processes. We may also save your Personal Information for future employment opportunities with us.
We may disclose aggregated information about our users and information that does not identify any individual without restriction.
We may disclose your Personal Information with your consent or in the following circumstances:
We collect your mobile phone number when you sign up to receive text messages from us. Your number is used solely for the purposes you selected, which may include marketing communications (such as promotional offers and product updates) and informational communications (such as order confirmations and shipping and delivery updates).
We use your mobile number and related message data, including delivery and interaction information, to send and manage text messages in accordance with your preferences, maintain records of your consent and opt-out status, ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements, and improve the effectiveness of our messaging programs. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or message data with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We may share your mobile number and message metadata with our service providers to facilitate message delivery and program management. These providers process message data solely on our behalf and are contractually required to protect your information and use it only as directed by us.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by following the opt-out instructions included in our text messages.
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time by replying “STOP,” and you may request assistance by replying “HELP.” Participation in our SMS program is not required to purchase any goods or services.
We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to collect usage and browser information about how you use our Site. The technologies we use for this automatic data collection may include cookies and web beacons that permit us to verify system and server integrity and generate statistics around the popularity of certain content. We process the information collected through such technologies, which may include or be combined with Personal Information, to help operate certain features of our Site, to enhance your experience through personalization, and to help us better understand the features of our Site that you and other users are most interested in.
Website Delivery and Appearance – We may use third-party providers to enable certain customer interaction opportunities, content delivery (like video), or other service capabilities. Examples include, but are not limited to, the following functionality:
Website Analytics – We use analytics services that use cookies and other technologies that collect your Personal Information, to assist us with analyzing our Site traffic and site usage to optimize, maintain, and secure our Site and inform subsequent business decisions (including, e.g., advertising). These include, but are not limited to, the following third-party services:
Interest-Based Advertising – We may also allow or enable third parties to collect Personal Information to provide their interest-based advertising on behalf of our products and Services, or their own. Interest-based advertising occurs when advertisements are shown to you based on information collected from your online interactions over time and across multiple websites, devices, or online services that you visit or use. Some companies may engage in cross-context behavioral advertising to predict your preferences and show you advertisements that are most likely to be of interest or relevant to you.
We do not control these third parties’ collection or use of your information for these purposes, or the opt-out options they may individually offer you via their terms, conditions, and privacy policies. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly. Examples of the third-party service providers we engage to serve interest-based advertisements include OpenX, Google Ads (including Google Dynamic Remarketing and Google Signals), Meta Ads (including Meta Pixels and Facebook advertising services), Microsoft Advertising, ShareThis, Outbrain, and LiveRamp (to whom we may disclose data for the purposes of digital targeting- for more information, please visit LiveRamp’s Privacy Policy, available at: https://liveramp.com/privacy/service-privacy-policy/).
Programmatic Advertising Technologies (including The Trade Desk) - We also work with third-party advertising and marketing technology partners to deliver interest-based advertising, measure the effectiveness of our campaigns, and better understand how visitors interact with our Site. These partners may use cookies, pixels, tags, device identifiers, and similar technologies to collect information about your browser, device, and activity on our Site.
One of the advertising partners we use is The Trade Desk, which provides programmatic advertising and measurement services. When the Trade Desk pixel is active on our Site, it may collect information such as your IP address, browser type, device or cookie identifiers, pages visited, and actions taken on the Site. This information helps us deliver more relevant advertisements and evaluate the performance of our marketing efforts. The Trade Desk may also combine this information with data they receive from other sources to improve the relevance of advertising.
We do not share information with The Trade Desk that directly identifies you (such as your name or email address). However, The Trade Desk may collect or receive identifiers that could be considered Personal Information under applicable laws.
You may learn more about The Trade Desk’s data practices and your choices by visiting their privacy page: https://www.thetradedesk.com/us/privacy. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies through industry tools such as:
Where required by law, we will obtain your consent before enabling advertising technologies of this nature.
Google Programmatic Advertising Technologies - We also use Google programmatic advertising tools, including Google Ads, Display & Video 360, and related measurement and audience services, which use pixels, tags, cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to collect information about your browser, device, and activity on our Site. These technologies may collect or receive Personal Information such as IP address, device identifiers, pages visited, actions taken on the Site, and the date and time of your visit. We use this information to create advertising audiences, personalize advertisements, and measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.
Google may combine information collected from our Site with information from other sources in accordance with Google’s privacy policies. We do not share information with Google that directly identifies you (such as your name or email address); however, the identifiers collected through these technologies may constitute Personal Information or be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of Personal Information under applicable U.S. state privacy laws.
Where required by applicable law, we will obtain your consent before enabling Google’s advertising and measurement technologies. You may opt out of targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising by adjusting your cookie preferences through our Site, configuring your browser settings, using an applicable industry opt-out tool, or broadcasting a browser-based Opt-Out Preference Signal such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC). We honor Opt-Out Preference Signals.
Selling Personal Information – While we do not sell Personal Information in exchange for monetary consideration, we do share Personal Information for other benefits that could be deemed a “sale” or “sharing” under various data protection laws, because they are sometimes broadly defined to include activities such as the delivery of interest-based advertising on websites or allowing third parties to receive certain information, such as cookies, IP address, and/or browsing behavior. We similarly engage in interest-based advertising when we use data about your activities on our Site to serve you ads on websites owned or controlled by third parties. It is in this context that we have provided advertising networks, data analytics providers, social networks, and video sharing platforms with Personal Information such as your IP address, device information, Internet and other electronic network activity information, and geolocation information in the last twelve months.
Cookie Choices – To manage your preferences with respect to these technologies, you can:
Location-Based Consent Requirements - Our use of cookies and similar technologies may vary based on your location. In jurisdictions requiring opt-in consent for non-essential cookies or advertising technologies—such as the European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and other regions with similar requirements—we will obtain your consent before enabling analytics, advertising, or programmatic technologies. In jurisdictions such as California, Colorado, and Connecticut, where opt-out rights for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising apply, we will honor opt-out requests and Opt-Out Preference Signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC). Users may withdraw or modify their consent or opt-out preferences at any time through our cookie preferences tool or browser settings.
We retain Personal Information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Notice, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. The length of time we retain each category of Personal Information depends on the nature of the information and the purpose for which it is used. In general: (i) Identifiers (e.g., name, contact information, IP address): retained for the duration of our relationship with you plus up to 7 years; (ii) Commercial information and transaction records: retained for 7 years to comply with accounting and tax requirements; (iii) Internet or network activity information: retained for 13–36 months, depending on analytics and advertising provider-specific limits; (iv) Geolocation data derived from IP address: retained for 13–24 months; (v) Employment-related information: retained for 3–7 years after the conclusion of the recruitment process or employment, as applicable; (vi) Sensitive Personal Information: retained only as necessary to provide requested services, for security purposes, or as required by law. Where applicable, shorter or provider-specific retention periods may apply to identifiers collected through cookies and analytics tools.
We are not responsible for the practices employed by any websites or services linked to or from our Site, including the information or content contained within them. We encourage you to investigate and ask questions before disclosing Personal Information to third parties, since any Personal Information disclosed will be handled in accordance with the applicable third party’s privacy policy.
In some cases, we offer links to social media platforms (like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, X (formerly known as Twitter), and YouTube) that enable you to easily connect with us or share information on social media. Any content you post via these social media pages is subject to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policies for those platforms.
We may also integrate with other websites to provide enhanced services, technological capabilities, or resources for you. These plug-in services and capabilities are governed by the terms, conditions, and policies of the underlying companies. We may also give you the option to log in into your account via third-party services like Facebook, Google, or PayPal. If you choose to leverage this option to link your accounts, we will receive information associated with your account (such as your name and profile information) from that third-party service. This information varies and is controlled by that service or as authorized by you via your privacy settings at that service. We recommend reviewing the service’s privacy policy beforehand and managing your privacy settings on an ongoing basis.
Where permitted by applicable law, we may transfer the Personal Information we collect about you to the United States and other jurisdictions that may not be deemed to provide the same level of data protection as your home country, as necessary for the purposes set out in this Notice.
Notice to Individuals in Canada (Cross-Border Processing). TRG and our service providers may store, access, or process Personal Information in the United States or other jurisdictions outside Canada for the purposes described in this Notice (including to provide and secure our Site and Services, communicate with you, process transactions, provide customer support, and conduct analytics and marketing). When Personal Information is processed outside Canada, it may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is stored or processed and may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, or other authorities in that jurisdiction. We take steps to require service providers to protect Personal Information with appropriate safeguards and to process it only for authorized purposes.
For individuals in the European Union, European Economic Area, Australia, Switzerland, and United Kingdom: TRG will only transfer Personal Information to third parties located outside of this region when it has ensured appropriate safeguards for such Personal Information through use of the standard contractual clauses or other lawful and approved methods. To request a copy of applicable cross-border data transfer agreements, please reach out using the information in the Contact Us section.
Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other appropriate safeguards to lawfully transfer Personal Information across borders.
We have implemented commercially reasonable measures designed to secure your Personal Information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Despite these efforts to store Personal Information in a secure environment, we cannot guarantee the security of Personal Information during its transmission or its storage on our systems.
We do not use automated decision-making in a way that produces legal or similarly significant effects for any individual. Our use of advertising, analytics, and programmatic technologies involves profiling for marketing purposes only and does not involve automated decisions that affect your legal rights or access to our Services.
While no system is completely secure, our security measures include administrative, technical, and physical safeguards such as access controls, encryption technologies, system monitoring, and staff training designed to protect Personal Information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
For residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and Utah, TRG acts as a ‘controller’ of your Personal Information as that term is defined under applicable state privacy laws.
Privacy Incidents / Security Breaches. If we become aware of a breach of security safeguards involving Personal Information (sometimes referred to as a “privacy incident” or “confidentiality incident”), we will take reasonable steps to reduce the risk of harm, investigate and remediate the incident, and provide notices to affected individuals and/or regulators where required by applicable law. We also maintain incident records where required.
In addition to the rights described below, residents of certain U.S. states have the right to opt out of the processing of Personal Information for targeted advertising, as defined by applicable law. We process Personal Information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising when third parties collect information from our Site via cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for the purpose of serving personalized ads.
You may opt out of targeted advertising by selecting the “Your Privacy Choices” link in our Site footer, adjusting your cookie preferences, or broadcasting a recognized Opt-Out Preference Signal such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC). We honor valid GPC signals.

If you choose to use an Opt-Out Preference Signal, you will need to turn it on for each supported browser or browser extension you use.
You may also exercise your right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Information, or of targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising, by using the “Your Privacy Choices” link available on our Site footer or by adjusting your cookie preferences using our cookie management tool. We honor browser-based Opt-Out Preference Signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC). When we receive a valid Opt-Out Preference Signal, we will treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of Personal Information associated with that browser or device.
You will not be discriminated against in any way by virtue of your exercise of the rights listed in this Notice. However, should you withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your Personal Information, or if you choose not to provide certain Personal Information, we may be unable to provide some or all of our Services to you.
Only you, or an authorized agent that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a request related to your Personal Information. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests, and if we cannot verify your identity, we may request additional information from you. If you are an authorized agent making certain requests on behalf of another person, we will also need to verify your identity, which may require proof of your written authorization or evidence of power of attorney. We endeavor to respond to requests within the time period required by applicable law. If we require more time, we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.

We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your requests unless they are excessive or repetitive. If we determine that a request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request. We may deny certain requests, or only fulfill some in part, as permitted or required by law.
